An 18 year old Palestinian woman was shot and injured by an Israeli civilian who she allegedly attempted to stab in occupied East Jerusalem Wednesday.

Israel Police Foreign Press Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld sent a tweet at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning claiming that a “female terrorist” stabbed a Jewish man in the Old City of Jerusalem. He later confirmed that the woman was 18 years old and the man 35.

The woman was identified by locals as Shuroq Salah Dwayat, a student at Bethlehem University.

Two Palestinians have also been shot and injured near the village of Dar Salah in the West Bank, after they attacked an Israeli from the settlement of Teqoa.

The two Palestinians were students from the town of al-Ubeidiya. They attacked the car of a settler, who was left with moderate injuries, Ma’an News Agency reports.

Israeli forces subsequently shot Mujahid Naem Abu-Sarhan, 18, in the chest and Suhaib Ibrahim Hasasna, 18, in the leg.

Clashes broke out in the area following the attack, and two more Israeli settlers were injured after rocks were thrown at cars they were travelling in.

In the southern Israeli town Kiryat Gat, a Palestinian allegedly stabbed an Israeli soldier and attempted to take the soldier’s gun from him.

Ma’an News Agency reports that the suspect was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers after he ran into a nearby building.

On Wednesday evening, one Israeli was lightly wounded in Petah Tivka. The attacker was identified as a 30 year old resident of Hebron.

Meanwhile, clashes have continued to erupt in occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank. Clashes also spread into Palestinian towns in Israel Tuesday.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has cancelled a scheduled trip to Germany tomorrow due to the worsening security situation in Israel and the West Bank.
