The IDF raided and shut down a Hebron radio station Saturday morning, the second West Bank radio news outlet to be shut by Israel this month.

According to Ynet News, IDF troops raided Radio Al Khalil overnight and seized broadcasting equipment, leaving a warrant ordering the closure of the station for six months.

In a statement, the Israeli army said that military forces, in cooperation with Israel’s internal security service, Shin Bet, and civil administration, had confiscated broadcasting equipment from the station.

“The al-Khalil radio station has repeatedly broadcasted content which promotes and encourages terror and acts of violence against Israeli civilians and security forces,” the army said in a statement.

Al-Khalil’s Facebook page posted photographs of armed Israeli forces entering the offices and of the alleged damage to equipment.

"They took the computers, the communication equipment, everything," Haddad told AFP, and denied Israeli claims that his station was inciting violence.

The station was offline on Saturday morning.

On Thursday, two Palestinians from the Hebron area carried out separate attacks in Tel Aviv and the Etzion settlement bloc. Three Israelis, an American and a Palestinian were killed.

In other areas of the West Bank and in Gaza, at least 156 Palestinians were shot and injured by Israeli forces during clashes on Friday.

The ministry of health said 69 Palestinians were injured with live fire in the West Bank, with 29 shot in the Ramallah area, two in Bethlehem, and three in Qalqiliya.
