Dr. Mustafa Barghouti called on Sunday for a firm and prompt response to Israel's current crackdown on the West Bank.

Chairman of the Palestinian National Initiative Mustafa Barghouti called for an immediate cessation of all forms of security coordination between the Palestinian Authority and Israel. Since Israel began its mass search efforts for the missing teens over a week ago, its army has killed five unarmed Palestinians, including one 14-year-old, and has raided approximately 1,500 homes.

Barghouti ordered the Palestinian Liberation Organization to immediately join the International Criminal Court so that it may try Israel for the war crimes it is currently committing against the Palestinian population.

Barghouti also called on the PLO to meet immediately so that it "may crystallize a unified national plan to confront Israeli aggression on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, in addition to thwarting Israel's central goal: shattering the national reconciliation."
