The withdrawal of the G4S company from Israel is a great victory for BDS.

Dr. Mustafa Barghouti, Secretary General of the Palestinian National Initiative, said that the withdrawal of the British company, G4S, from Israel and the closing of their offices represents another great victory that is crucial to the BDS movement against Israel.

Dr. Barghouti also added that the closure of the G4S company offices specialized in escorting services, which invests more than $150 million in guarding Israeli prisons, where Palestinian prisoners are being tortured, confirms the effectiveness of the boycott movement. This withdrawal plays a role in escalating and widening new losses on the Israeli economy.

Dr. Barghouti also commented that this remarkable achievement will help put pressure on other companies dealing with the Israeli occupation. It also confirms the efficiency of the boycott movement.

He also explained that this withdrawal is proof of the importance of the boycott movement and its success which constitutes a real deterrent to Israel. It is important that this boycott movement gains support and strength to reach all over the world.

Barghouti called on the Palestinian people to support the international movement by engaging in this boycott of Israeli goods in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
